I'm doing loads of comics and stuff for uni and I'm ever-so busy. Stay tuned as I hope to be updating a lot.

My mission by the end of next Summer is to build up a portfolio of comics good enough to contact Drawn and Quarterly with, and hopefully attempt to get a slot in their Showcase anthology.

It's a long shot. But I am focused like a laser right now, and I'm going to be creating a LOT of comics over the coming year.

Bish bash bosh. Let's do this.

No problem :) I really like your stuff actually, it just seems so natural and... I don't know, real, I guess.

How do you actually start your drawings? Do you have a particular idea in mind when you begin, or do you just start in one corner and make it up as you go? I'm just very intrigued =P
:icondoodlegal:
Sometimes both actually. Mostly I've started out with a major deal (head, words, or something) and worked around it. Generally on a side or around the middle of the page. Mostly I have no idea what I'm going to draw, until I sit down and draw it, then develop more intricate doodles till it's filled the whole paper.

It makes the drawing more fun that way, as a surprise :D

Thanks for asking me, I've never really thought about how I draw these doodles, mainly I just draw them.

No problem :) I'm just really interested in the way other artists think, is all, do it's good to hear about the processes people go through. Thanks!

You're welcome! I'm always interested in how artists create their artworks too, and their artistic processes. With doodling though I can't imagine putting much thinking into it really, just more going with the flow of the pencil more likely. Or that is how it seems to me. My doodles seem to draw themselves!

I love the artistic process, it is neat
